«Five hundred lung ventilators per month for four months, from an average of 150 in normal times: the effort to which we have been called is titanic. These are abnormal numbers: consider that the world market in our niche is made up of 35 thousand pieces per year ". These are the workds of Giuseppe Preziosa, general manager of Siare - turnover of 11 million euros per year which mostly generated from abroad, and a staff of 35 employees - the company that will provide civil protection with the machines necessary to take care of the most serious patients of Covid-19. To accomplish this mission, customers of the caliber of General Electrics and Philips have been put on standby. To cope with this emergency the company asked the help of dozens of military engineers from State managed company AID (Agenzia Industriale Difesa).
